We love Old Street. They are a classic pub with extremely friendly staff. The space is divided into a dining room side and a bar room side. The bar room side does have tables as well. There are always regulars around the bar and you get a "Cheers" vibe. The sandwiches and burgers are the sure hits.

This is a friendly bar straight out of Cheers. When people leave, they walk down the bar saying goodbye to their friends, meaning everybody. New customers are welcomed in by Frankie and the customers, too. Long mahogany bar, sports playing on the 4 flat screens, a game of chance to determine the price of your next drink (4:1 it costs you a dime). Great food with entrees under $20.
They make one of the best Reuben sandwichs in Smithtown. I try to maintain a healthy diet of living of of their chilly, French onion soup, and anything with the word"melt" in it.
I had my daughters baptism there 10 years ago and then another party their 2 years ago ... Both were great. They really work with you to make sure you have the right party that fits your budget. Highly recommend for private parties.
